Winter Engagement Photos in Fort Collins

Exploring Downtown

Courtney and Taylor wanted winter engagement photos that showed their love for Fort Collins. They live there together, absolutely adore their home, and enjoy showing off the vibrant downtown area. For their engagement session, we decided to spend the first half exploring the town.

Fort Collins’ downtown area is so iconic that it inspired the design of Main Street USA at Disney World. Therefore, the couple’s decision to explore the alleys and streets of Fort Collins made for an excellent backdrop for their photographs.

Foggy Winter Engagement Photos in the Mountains

Afterward, we took a quick detour to Courtney and Taylor’s house to pick up their pup, Rocky. We captured a few shots with the three of them in front of the front door of their house. Rocky looked thrilled to be included in the engagement session. He’s so cute!

Our next stop was the mountains, which are only ten minutes away from Courtney and Taylor’s home (lucky!). Although the couple had hoped for beautiful mountain views, as soon as we got there a cloud rolled in, and everything around us was engulfed in fog. I actually love the foggy look because it puts all the focus on the couple and the reactions they’re having during all the heartfelt moments they shared.

This engagement session was a blast! Courtney, Taylor, Rocky, and I had an amazing time getting to know each other and hanging out a little before their wedding day. I am SO looking forward to Courtney and Taylor’s wedding day, which is just around the corner. They will be having a fall wedding in October at The St Vrain, one of my favorite wedding venues. Can’t wait to work with another amazing team of vendors and capture the story of their wedding day.
