Lionsgate Event Center features 3 stunning venues on their property – The Dove House, The Gatehouse, and The Chandelier Barn. Each of them include thoughtful, beautiful details hand made or hand selected by the family that built and owns the venue. Brief History
Lionsgate Event Center is made up of three different wedding venues located on one beautiful property – The Dove House, The Gatehouse, and The Chandelier Barn. Lionsgate Event Center has been owned and operated by the same family since its first event in 1992, when they hosted 3 events. The following year, after hosting 198 events, they decided to expand the property to include a sunroom, bar and a garden room.
In 1993, Owners Tom and Marie had the opportunity to purchase their only neighboring property which was a 1910 farmhouse with two barns, and they immediately began the next round of renovations. Discovering that many couples were looking for a venue able to seat over 150 guests which no other private venue could offer at the time, they added 12,000 square feet onto the 1,200 square foot farmhouse. They incorporated interesting antique architectural items from around the world and opened The Gatehouse in 1996, which was another immediate success.
In true family owned and operated form, Marie’s now adult son Steve and his wife Alex have started playing a larger role and now run the day to day operations of Lionsgate. Their innovative ideas and insights have brought Lionsgate to the next level for future generations of clients, all while retaining the core values of giving clients the very best services and products in order to “Stress Less, Love More.”
Ceremony & Reception Spaces
Lionsgate Event Center has three venue sites:
The Dove House: Step into a piece of Colorado history at The Dove House with 100-year-old trees, intimate spaces, and gardens galore. You have indoor and outdoor options to truly bring your vision to fruition. Outside you can find a wide variety of mature plants, a welcoming patio, a family of chickens, and multiple dreamy photo opportunities. Step inside to find a vintage Art Deco bar, Edison bulbs, a garden room, and eclectic furnishings. The Dove House offers ample space for both parties to get ready. Both areas are complete with a mini refrigerator, mirrors, seating areas, and restrooms.
The Gatehouse: is a stunning ballroom adorned with vintage fixtures, an attached garden, and an iconic-stained glass centerpiece. The main ballroom is a dazzling space encased in antique French stained-glass, Argentine iron, European paneling, a copper-top bar, and a Victorian staircase. Through the French doors you will find a covered outdoor patio and a large private garden which can hold a beautiful outdoor ceremony, while being surrounded by trees and vine. The Gatehouse can be set for up to 350 people while also being a comfortable space for anything lesser.
The Chandelier Barn: perfect for a glamorous couple, a down to earth couple, and anyone in between. This historic turn of the century barn is topped with 32 hand-crystalled chandeliers. It can host your ceremony facing either direction and it never fails to take your breath away. Upstairs in The Chandelier Barn is an intimate space for one party. Adorned in chandeliers and mirrors, it creates an elegant feel as you are pampered before your ceremony.

Guest Accommodation & Cost Consideration
Cost and number of guests depends on the venue you choose, the time of year, and day of the week. Here are ranges and guest count for each respective venue site at Lionsgate Event Center:
- The Dove House seats up to 150 guests and prices range from $4,800 to $9,500
- The Gatehouse can be set up for up to 350 people with prices ranging from $5,800 to $11,500
- The Chandelier Barn seats up to 110 guests and is only available for ceremony add-on
Your event fee covers the following inclusions:
- Tables: Round, banquet, cocktail, and serpentine tables
- Chairs: mahogany Chiavari with black cushions for inside, white folding for outside, white barn chairs for Chandelier Barn
- Linens: Over 95 colors & styles
- Tableware: Clear plateware, silver flatware, clear glassware, and gold/silver chargers
- Decor: Glass and metal containers, oil lamps, mason jars, pretty rocks, votive cups, shepherd hoods, lanterns, pillars, and more
- Ceremony: Choice of inside or outside (in case of bad weather), personalized playlist for prelude and ceremony, microphone, and one hour rehearsal
