Morgan & Tyler’s Mountain Wedding at Hidden Springs Ranch
Nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, Granby is a town that feels like a hidden retreat. Surrounded by towering peaks and open skies, it’s a place where nature takes center stage. Morgan and Tyler knew they wanted their wedding to be an experience—not just for them, but for everyone they invited. They chose Hidden Springs Ranch, a venue that showcases the best of Granby’s landscape, turning their celebration into a getaway for their guests.
I first met Morgan and Tyler at a wedding expo, and even then, I had a feeling we’d work well together. When they officially reached out to book, I was thrilled. Their approach to their wedding day was refreshingly simple: they wanted to focus on what truly mattered. It wasn’t about big productions or over-the-top details—it was about marrying each other in a beautiful place that felt meaningful.
The day itself was stunning. Hidden Springs Ranch was bathed in that perfect, crisp mountain sunlight, what skiers and hikers call a bluebird day. The entire setting felt peaceful, exactly the kind of atmosphere Morgan and Tyler wanted. Their ceremony took place at Hidden Springs Ranch, a venue that blends seamlessly into its surroundings. Tall grass swayed around the ceremony space, and with the mountains in the distance, it felt intimate in the best way.
One of my favorite details of the day wasn’t even part of their wedding setup. Just beyond their ceremony site, Hidden Springs Ranch has a series of rustic wooden benches, sometimes used for ceremonies. Morgan and Tyler didn’t use that spot, but as we wandered through for photos, the way the sun hit the overgrown grass around the benches made everything feel untouched, like the land itself was watching over their day. We stayed there as the sun set, soaking in the quiet beauty of the place.
The reception was equally laid-back, filled with warmth and easy laughter. Guests had traveled from all over, and you could tell they felt like they were on vacation. That was exactly what Morgan and Tyler had hoped for—more than just a wedding, they wanted to share this place they love with the people they love. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any more perfect, a rainbow appeared right by their ceremony site, a quiet, beautiful reminder of the day’s magic.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to photograph Morgan and Tyler beyond their wedding day, and every time, it’s a joy to see them. Their wedding at Hidden Springs Ranch was just one chapter in their story, but it was one of those days that reminds you why weddings matter—not because of the details, but because of the people.
