Victoria and Jeff’s Rembrandt Yard wedding in Boulder was one to remember and I was so honored to photograph it. These two unfortunately had to postpone their wedding several times due to the pandemic, so I was excited for them that this day finally got to happen. They also wanted to make sure Victoria’s sister Sydney (who was stationed overseas during the Covid-19 pandemic) could be in attendance. Having Sydney at their wedding was amazing and we could see how close they all are when Sydney sang as the couple had their first dance.
Before their wedding day, Victoria and Jeff told me they looked forward most to seeing all their loved ones who would come from near and far to celebrate together at Rembrandt Yard. This was especially important to them because the pandemic created so much physical distance between us. The couple’s family and friends made it to this wonderful day to see the bride and groom profess their love and celebrate together.
The wedding was at Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. was the perfect choice for Victoria and Jeff’s simple and classic wedding. The couple chose this wedding venue because the city of Boulder means a lot to Jeff’s family. It’s especially a tribute to his 97-year-old grandfather, George, who lived in Boulder in his younger years and attended University of Colorado Boulder. Victoria and Jeff also loved that their city wedding at Rembrandt Yard had absolutely amazing views of the town of Boulder and a great view of the nearby mountains.
Other than the amazing location and wedding venue, the couple was so excited about their wedding cake from Gateaux Bakery. Victoria and Jeff’s good friends own the bakery, and to have such a delicious cake baked for them and served on their wedding day meant the world to Victoria and Jeff. I absolutely loved capturing the bride, groom and their son cutting the cake together as a family.
When asked if they had any special food and drinks for the reception, the couple told me: “We. Love. Tacos”. So, obviously it was clear that they needed tacos on their wedding day, and they paired it perfectly with specialty cocktails themed after their dogs. As a dog parent myself, this was such a beautiful touch and I loved it.
Congratulations Victoria and Jeff!
