Cheryl and Cody’s wedding was centered around their family and Native American traditions. Held at the beautiful YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, their ceremony began with the bride walking down the aisle to the groom singing a song he wrote in remembrance of the bride’s father, which set the perfect tone for their heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony, Cody’s sister dressed Cheryl in traditional Meskawaki clothing as a symbol of welcoming her into their family. It was such a special moment to be a part of, and when Cheryl and Cody snuck away with me to take sunset pictures in Rocky Mountain National Park, I truly felt lucky to be a part of this combing of families and traditions and celebration of two amazing people.
