I had the absolute pleasure of doing Jess and Brooklyn’s engagement photography in the charming town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It was an exciting opportunity that came about after a glowing recommendation from my previous clients, Drew and Greg, who hired me for their own engagement session and wedding in early 2022.
It was SO lovely to spend an entire incredible weekend with Jess, Brooklyn, Drew, and Greg. Throughout the weekend we played games, explored Eureka Springs together and, most importantly, capture lots and lots of beautiful photographs for Brooklyn & Jess. I can’t wait for their wedding next year in Missouri!
Saturday Engagement Photography in Eureka Springs
On Saturday, we set out to explore the picturesque town of Eureka Springs with Jess and Brooklyn for their engagement photography. They love to vacation in Eureka Springs often and told me before the session that it’s a very relaxing town for them. The quaint streets and historic architecture provided the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. Although, our favorite stop was hidden gem called Mojo’s, a really great record shop. They were so friendly and we loved getting to capture a few moments there.Â
Junebug Weddings Feature
I photographed a few more images on Sunday, as we ventured out into the mountain town again to capture a couple moments. Every frame I captured reflected their genuine love and connection.
After their session, I was notified that one of Jess and Brooklyn’s engagement photographs, featuring them on some picturesque rainbow stairs in Eureka Springs, received an honorable mention in Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Engagement Photos 2023 contest. Out of 6,000 submissions, I was so blown away that one of the images from their sessionsa was 1 of only 80 images selected for this prestigious honor.
The Journey Continues
Looking ahead to 2024, Jess and Brooklyn have a grand celebration awaiting them in Missouri. They have chosen the enchanting Juniper Gardens in Springfield as the venue where they will exchange their vows. My wife Jenny with Revel & Roam is their wedding coordinator will be there to ensure every moment is perfect, while I will have the honor of capturing their special day as their photographer. This joyous occasion will extend beyond a single day, as the wedding will be a weekend-long event. Family and friends will be able to stay and continue celebrating with the couple.
Jess and Brooklyn’s city engagement session in Eureka Springs was a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments. From our initial connection with Drew and Greg to exploring the charming streets of Eureka Springs and receiving recognition for their stunning photos, every step of this journey has been an honor. I’m so excited for their wedding in Missouri, knowing it will be a celebration of love that will leave an indelible mark on everyone’s hearts.
