Modern Jewish Wedding at The Cable Center

Sara and Zack got married at The Cable Center in Denver. When it came to choosing the venue for their modern Jewish wedding ceremony and reception, they knew they wanted something that had great indoor and outdoor spaces with a lot of natural light. The Cable Center was the perfect choice, with its beautiful terrazzo floors, high ceilings, big windows, and contemporary feel. Plus, its location on the University of Denver campus and central location in the city made choosing The Cable Center so easy.

When it came to wedding decor, Sara and Zack wanted to keep things simple and classy. They wanted to let the venue speak for itself which is why they chose a black and white color scheme with a touch of blue. The simple decor was perfect to make The Cable Center‘s beautiful features, including the unique blue floor, the center of attention.

As the big day approached, the excitement was palpable. When we asked the couple what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, the answer was simple: the food, dancing, and being surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Sara and Zack’s wedding day was a beautiful and joyous occasion. Before the wedding ceremony everybody gathered in the library for a special moment where they signed their beautiful handmade Ketubah (a marriage agreement) along with their friends and family. One of my favorite parts of the day was during the Ketubah signing ceremony, when Sara’s grandfather sang a Jewish blessing which he also sang at Sara’s parents’ wedding. It was such a sweet moment. After the Ketubah signing, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony filled with meaningful customs and traditions, surrounded by their closest family and friends. I loved photographing the couple’s ceremony, which was so beautiful and one of my favorites of the year. Sara and Zack not only focused on how they should care for each other, but they also talked about the ways their love makes their communities and this world a better place. 

The reception that followed was a lively and festive celebration, with plenty of delicious food from Footers Catering. The couple told us how much they loved their food, had a blast picking out their menu and couldn’t wait for their gusts to try it. After the delicious diner there was and an a la mode dessert bar, which was a huge hit with their guests. The rest of the night was filled with dancing. So much dancing!

Sara and Zack’s love for each other was evident in every moment of the day, and their wedding was a beautiful reflection of their shared courage and love.
