If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Colorado, you’ll die over the charming exposed brick walls, wood ceiling trusses, and the sparkle of the chandeliers overhead at The St Vrain in Longmont.
The building in which The St Vrain is located was originally built in 1918 and was one of the earliest auto dealerships in the Rocky Mountain region. The original auto showroom is now the ceremony and reception space at The St Vrain. The combination of brick, wood and concrete provide the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding ceremony.
If you want to add outdoor pictures to your First Look, Old Town Longmont is home of some of Boulder County’s most beautiful historic buildings and city parks. Within a few blocks of The St Vrain you can find gardens, parks, ponds with mountain views, prairies, silos, loading docks and lots of urban landscape.
When you get married at the St Vrain, the entire gorgeous venue is yours for the day. The venue has a bridal suite and groom’s room along with a place for a first look with lots of beautiful natural light.
The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony space features original brick walls and wood ceiling trusses and chandeliers. An oversized vintage garage door adds to the warmth and charm of the bygone era of the early 1900s.
Wood-crossed backed chairs with cushions and your choice of ceremony backdrop are all included. The venue also provides a Facilities Manager who’s there to make sure you and your guests are cared for and comfortable.
Reception Space & Guest Accommodation
The upstairs floor of The St Vrain allows for dinner and dancing for up to 250 people.
Guests at The St Vrain enjoy its fully furnished cocktail lounge featuring a large garage door that opens onto an outdoor patio where Rocky Mountain sunset can be enjoyed. There’s lots of space for standing and plenty of groups of seating arrangement. From cocktail tables and stools to plush sofas and chairs, everyone has a comfortable and cool spot to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
When the Cocktail Lounge garage door is open, the outdoors instantly comes in! The beautiful patio is lined with linden and ornamental pear trees… think white blossoms in spring and perfumed breezes in early summer! Comfortable outdoor furniture and cafe market lights create a really awesome urban oasis.
At the end of cocktail hour, head upstairs for the reception. The St Vrain includes all of the foundational pieces you need for a beautiful wedding Day. Rustic pine farm tables, wood cross back chairs with linen cushions, special bride and groom seating, and cafe market lights strung from the wood ceiling trusses are all included with the cost of the venue space.
Although prices vary, the average base price is $5,700 to $9,500 depending on the day of the week, time of day, and time of year.
Within miles of The St Vrain are some of Boulder County’s finest family farms offering a variety of fresh vegetables, meats and dairy products. Whenever possible, The St Vrain’s catering partner takes advantage of local purveyors’ and farmers’ offerings. Menus will vary with the seasons to insure your reception features Colorado’s freshest and the finest.
One thing I love about The St Vrain is its close proximity to its sister property, The Terry Guest House. The Terry is an intimate gathering place for micro-weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, and weekend retreats. It is located one block west of The St Vrain in historic old town Longmont. Couples who love the design aesthetic of The St Vrain have loved the option of a three night stay at The Terry with its LUXE accommodations for 12, a yard that includes a shady lawn, market lights, a water fountain along with space for a caterer, food truck, tables and chairs for 50.
Whether you are looking for a sophisticated boutique gathering space or a place to call home for your wedding weekend, The Terry promises to surprise and delight you and your guests with warm and welcoming sophistication!
